EN - Launch of Indian Book Collection Valuable for Library Mission

Saturday, December 7th, during Bharatiya Bhasha Diwas (Indian Language Day), the Indian (children's) book collection will be officially launched. This collection comprises over one hundred books in several Indian languages. The initiator and driving force behind this collection is Vishwanath NG. He is the founder and chairman of the Indian Center in the Netherlands (ICIN) and together with Chaitali Sengupta he is affiliated with At Home in Languages (Van Alle Talen Thuis) as native language experts.

Lancering Indiase boekencollectie belangrijk voor taak bibliotheek

Zondag 7 december is tijdens Bharatiya Bhasha Diwas - Indian Language Day - de feestelijke lancering van de Indiase (kinder)boekencollectie. Deze collectie bestaat uit meer dan honderd boeken in meerdere Indiase talen. Initiator en drijvende kracht achter deze collectie is Vishwanath NG. Hij is oprichter en voorzitter van het Indian Center in Netherlands (ICIN) en samen met Chaitali Sengupta als thuistaalexpert verbonden aan Van Alle Talen Thuis (VATT).
Heel Holland Zoekt komt naar de Bibliotheek Eindhoven

Ter gelegenheid van het 75-jarig jubileum van de Nederlandse televisie start Beeld & Geluid de nationale inzamelingsactie Heel Holland Zoekt. Met deze grootschalige zoektocht roept Beeld & Geluid iedereen in Nederland op om te speuren naar vergeten televisiemateriaal. Op 7 februari 2026 start de Heel Holland Zoekt Roadshow in Eindhoven. De speciale toerbus parkeert dan bij De Witte Dame.
