Are you a keen reader? The ‘Witte Dame’ has a varied collection of English novels and thrillers. Do you prefer to read using an e-reader, or to listen to an audio book? Take a look at our extensive collection of e-books and audio books. It also has plenty of English books for children and young adults.
In collaboration with the Reading Pier, the library sourced a wide range of English language children’s books. They also established a partnership with Heritage Language Education Network, sourcing books in a variety of languages aimed at children aged 0 to 12 years old. The library already offered books in English, Italian and Chinese, and this year will add books in French, Romanian, Bulgarian and Persian. Read more below.
The youth section has an extensive collection of books: picture books, ﬁrst books for learning to read and challenging books for the advanced reader. There are also DVDs, magazines and games.

Because of the current situation we, unfortunately, cannot offer the weekly physical storytelling sessions in the library.Therefore we would like to refer you to The Reading Pier Facebook with new ONLINE storytelling sessions every Wednesday!
Bring your baby or toddler to the library and pick up a free ‘Boekstart’ case for them. Childrens memberships are free.

The Eindhoven Library's International Children's Book Collection now holds 500 Italian books, courtesy of Eindhoven Italian School "La Lampadina." Library cards are free for children aged 0 to 18.
